How a per person figure is built
Every entry in the list prints a figure that begins with one person sharing a room with another. Inside that figure are the nights themselves, the taxes the supplier collects on them, and any part of the stay that the same supplier sells only with the room.
Nothing in the figure moves anyone anywhere. It buys a bed for a named number of nights and the things attached to that bed. The driving is done in a car the traveler already owns, so it never enters the arithmetic at all.
The word from is doing real work. Two people sharing one room pay one way, and one person alone in the same room in the same week pays another. The written offer that comes back carries the whole number for each traveler, with the supplier named behind every part of it.
Lines the figure does not carry
Fuel, tolls and parking at the far end belong to the traveler, because the car does too. So does any meal the supplier has not named, any admission sold at the gate on the day, and anything decided once the party has arrived.
Cover for the trip sits outside as well. Insurance is neither sold nor arranged here, and no guidance on visas or passports is given at this office. Those three belong with the bodies that issue them, not with a room reservation.
The list is narrow on purpose, and the figure is narrow for the same reason. It answers one question, which is what a Cincinnati vacation package costs per person for the nights reserved, and it leaves every other question to the people who can answer it.
Why nothing is added at this end
No booking fee is charged here, and no service charge is laid on top of a supplier figure. When a reservation is placed, the supplier pays the office out of the sum it had already set, so asking the traveler for a second payment would be asking twice for one piece of work.
Payment never runs through this office. Each supplier bills the traveler direct, on its own terms and under its own name, and no card is asked for on this site. That also means the office holds nothing back and has nothing to refund.
Price and road length come apart
A near town can carry a larger figure per person than a place much further out, because the money follows what the nights are made of rather than how far the car went. The order of the list is hours of road per night, and the money sits beside it as a separate fact.
Season moves the number as well. The same room in the same town reads one way in one month and another way in the next. The office quotes the dates it was asked about, and says plainly when a different month carries a different number.
Neither a room nor a figure is held on the strength of an enquiry alone. The complete number goes out in writing first, and it becomes real only when it is accepted the same way.
The office adds no booking fee of its own. What you pay is what each supplier charges, and the written offer shows each line separately.
